Since hearing that I will be getting a phone call from the NEA on the 7th July I have been working about 60% of time on my new business plan. I have  not posted all the contents here, just the front cover. It is not completed yet but I hope to have it completed by the 7th.

N.B. I have also been working on my cash flow document (maybe 10% of Time) this  of course I cant post here.

The next image is for the Hebdon Bridge project. Wayne was very pleased with previous work so gave me some of his research.  I have plotted this on a map to show him and his community project what can be done, (this is only a basic model the real project will go further)

The work on this and the London council images below took c. 25 % of time.

London County Council image…

The ‘London County Council, Record of Service in the Great War 1914 – 18’, (1922) ~ (LCC)!

The ‘LCC’ consisted, in the first instance, of a concise description of some of the actions in which the men and women of the Council served. Within each section of the narrative, is a list of those that died or recognised with an award.

The ‘Index’ forms the second part of the ‘LCC’ which lists the ‘names of members of the Council’s staff mentioned in the foregoing pages’; with page numbering for easy reference.

In the final part or ‘Appendix’, of the ‘LCC’ consists of a brief, but formal, synopsis of the men and women’s service; c. 10141.  Describing, what we can call ‘attribute data’, (listed below); It also shows c. 1071 service personnel who died, highlighted with an ‘*’.

Originally, all the records of the ‘LCC’ had a spatial connection to London County Council boundary of that era. However, further consideration and research showed that a spatial separation of those listed under the ‘Asylums and Mental Deficiency Departments’ could be achieved.  These institutions were located outside of the Council boundary.  The other departments’ ‘service records’ could have spatial separation applied to them, over time.

Trench – The Great War Project has been transcribing and organising data from the ‘LCC’ for a while now.
